Christmas planning + gift ideas
Hello!
How are you going? As a Melbournite, I am feeling a range of emotions as we are about to re-emerge from lockdown. I am thrilled to be able to no longer have a curfew, no radius limit and to be able to leave home for any reason but I am wary as well. I hope that the opening up doesn’t put too much pressure on our health care system and I hope that numbers don’t escalate out of control.
And the mixed emotions come from within the home too. I have grown very used to having the kids around. Yes, it has made getting work done challenging. Yes, I have to clean up much more. Yes, I have to make much more food. Yes, I would like a little more time to myself. But, I will miss them. I will miss having morning tea and lunch together with the youngest. I will miss having them all home for dinner (most) nights and the card games afterward. And I will miss going to bed knowing they are all safely home!
Please know that by saying this I do not wish to lockdown the kids again. They need to get out and socialise, play sport and be away from their parents, etc. But having this time altogether has made me think about how can I parcel off some time in everyone’s week so we still have time for games together occasionally and I can have more connection points with kids individually each week.
That is going to be my challenge in the weeks going forward. What do you think your challenge will be?
Revamped Adapt Drinks Website and Single Bottle Stockist!
If you haven't visited the Adapt Drinks website this week you will not have seen the lovely new images of Adapt Drinks Relax. This image above is where I want to be right now! As lockdown is ending, so too is the lockdown discount on Thursday 21st Oct @11.59pm. So head to the website now and use code vic10 to receive 10% off.
And in other exciting news, you can now buy Adapt Drinks Relax in single bottles from the fabulous Boozeless. If you haven't come across Boozeless, it is a fab place to purchase all your non-alcoholic beverages. Founders, Sydney based husband and wife team, James and Colleen Carolin set up Boozeless after realising they needed to switch to lighter drinking and began exploring the growing new category of non alcoholic drinks.
When going alcohol-free, no longer are you limited to soft drinks and juices but there are some amazing non-alc spirits, wines, and beers to choose from. Boozeless is a great place to buy a range of non-alc drinks that you may not have tried before like the super popular non-alc beer Heaps Normal, Lyre's Amalfi Spritz or Plus and Minus Blanc de Blancs Sparkling and you are able to buy them in singles so you can try them before you buy them in a larger quantity.
To celebrate the launch of Adapt Drinks Relax on Boozeless, Colleen and James have set up a discount code that you can use on their site for 10% of your first Adapt order: ADAPT10. Click here to head to Boozeless.
