That is not a priority right now + no prep meal delivery giveaway
Pinch and a punch! Yes, it is the first of December and the countdown to Christmas is well and truly on. I am excited to be able to say that I have finished my Christmas shopping. We have quite a few big events between now and Christmas so it is quite a relief to have that element sorted. I am also super lucky that our daughter loves gift wrapping and has already wrapped 80% of the gifts.
If you are starting to feel a little overwhelmed, stressed or busy as the workload increases towards Christmas, then you might like to check out these yoga classes I love - 7 short free online yoga classes to help you destress and relax.
I can hear some saying now, “I am too busy I don’t have ten minutes for yoga!”, but the reality is we do. We just choose to spend it elsewhere. I don’t think there would be many people, myself absolutely included that wouldn’t spend much much more than 10 minutes on their phone scrolling through some app without purpose.
I don’t say this to make anyone feel guilty about being on their phone - I spend time on my phone and enjoy it. But the thing is, I know I feel completely different when I am spending time consciously on my phone, compared to when I am spending time on my phone because I am either bored or procrastinating and end up spending much more time than I intended.
Every time I hear myself saying, I don’t have time for something, I pull myself up and change it to either “I don’t want to do that” or “that is not a priority right now”. I can easily find 10 minutes in the day to do something that is as beneficial as an online yoga class if I am intentional with how I use my time, I just need to make the right choices throughout the day.
Christmas Preparation
Even if you haven’t bought one gift yet, there is still time to space out the work and not arrive at Christmas lunch feeling exhausted. Here are some posts that can help you:
