When you are feeling a little overwhelmed + a new look
Hello! I hope your week is going well. In a recent email I sent to paid subscribers I shared a tip on how I prevent myself from feeling overwhelmed that I thought might be helpful to you. Many of us are juggling working from home and having kids on school holidays which is definitely a combo that can cause overwhelm!

When I find myself in a situation where my calendar is filling up and there are a number of commitments with the kids which will take up time in my work week, I can start advance worrying about how I am going to get everything done. This is a habit that I can easily fall into but I have worked out that all it does is cause me unnecessary stress.
Focusing too much on the future can be stressful and it is most often spending mental time and energy on things we cannot control. Instead of spending time worrying in advance and allowing that to drain my energy, I focus on writing everything down on my to-do list and working on the things I can control - what I am doing with this moment right now.
Worrying about the future can be paralysing and can dilute our focus on the task at hand - this loses the valuable time we do have! When I catch myself doing advance worrying, I simply acknowledge I am doing it and bring myself back to the present, and focus on the task I am doing. I remind myself that I have the items on my list and scheduled for the week and I have given myself the best chance of getting it done. This really helps me from tipping over into overwhelm!
New look and new flavour Adapt Drinks
I am super excited to be able to show you the new look Adapt Drinks Relax! I have changed from manufacturing the drink in bottles to cans. The drink holds all the same goodness as before it just comes in a different container.
This time we also produced a new flavour - Lemon Myrtle. Adapt Drinks Lemon Myrtle is a refreshing and crisp adaptogenic drink. It has hints of lemon, lime and lemongrass with a delicate citral note. The flavour profile has a light sweetness and is cooling on the palate.
It has all the same high-quality functional ingredients as the Native Strawberry Gum just the flavour and colour is different. So when you sip on the Lemon Myrtle flavour you will have the same lovely feeling of taking the edge off at the end of the day without any nasty after-effects.
